🎬Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring | 2003 | South Korea
📌In Korean with English subtitles

The film unfolds in five chapters, each corresponding to a season, chronicling the passage of a young monk from innocence to temptation, sin, punishment, and eventual redemption.

Under the guidance of his wise master, the monk’s journey mirrors the eternal rhythm of the natural world. With its serene landscapes, minimal dialogue, and contemplative pace, Kim crafts a cinematic poem about the human soul’s struggle between desire and transcendence.
