Event Description
## **La Principita: A Poetic Journey of Brotherhood and Sisterhood**
Casa Europa México presents the upcoming **August 16 at 12:00 pm**, as the **Casa de la Cultura (Mesones #71)** opens its doors to welcome a one-of-a-kind stage proposal within the programming of FASMA. **"La Principita"** is a playful and poetic adaptation of the timeless work by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, presented this time through a Franco-Mexican, bilingual and feminist lens.
Written and directed by **Netty Radvanyi**, this piece transforms the classic narrative to introduce us to an aviator who, after an accident in the desert, discovers a small traveler from a distant planet. It’s an invitation to rediscover our capacity for wonder and the bonds that connect us, in an atmosphere where imagination has no limits.
---
## **The Cast: Art, Music, and Puppetry**
The magic of this production is built through a multidisciplinary combination that captivates the senses:
-
**Acting**: The stage comes to life through performances by **Francia Castañeda** and **Arantxa Marchant**.
-
**Live Music**: The sound atmosphere is delicately created by pianist **Isabel Vázquez**, who accompanies every emotion of the story.
-
**Crochet Marionettes**: The staging stands out for the use of **four handmade crochet marionettes**, elements that add a warm, original visual texture to the narrative.
---
## **An Event for New Generations**
This work has been carefully designed to connect with children and their families:
