Event Description
Premiere of *The Show*: a duel, identity, and the art of standing tall.
This Thursday, June 26 at 6:30 PM at the Santa Ana Theater, will be the official premiere of *The Show*, our latest short film. It is an intimate, visceral story, made with urgency and love. And we want to share it with you.
After the screening, we invite you to a special celebration at the Rooftop Bar Umami (Zacateros 41), where there will be a complimentary welcome drink and live music by the incredible Lady Zen, an artist with a powerful voice and luminous soul. It will be a night to face ourselves, toast to what has been lived, and continue the conversation through art.
*The Show* tells the story of Miguel, a former drag queen who, after a failed performance of Hamlet in an empty theater, suffers an accident that leaves him without a leg. Isolated in his dressing room, faced with silence and the mirror, he must confront his aging body, the remnants of a career, and the provocative ghost of his former self. What follows is a solo duel, between dressing room lights and shadows of the past. The reflection does not lie: who are we when what we thought we were crumbles?
We would be delighted if you could join us at the premiere on June 26 at 6:30 PM at the Santa Ana Theater.
And then, we'll all head to the Rooftop Bar Umami at Zacateros 41, where a complimentary welcome drink awaits us and the wonderful presence of Lady Zen live, to end the night as it should be: with music, community, and a touch of magic.
With gratitude,
**The production team of *The Show*
