Event Description

Cine Club en Clayera invites you to enjoy the cinema at the Santa Ana

Theater on the waves. A film by Horacio Alcalá Mexico | 2026 | classification B | In Spanish

on the island of Magdala, a place suspended between tradition, myth and reality, Gloria Zamora seeks to finance her son's career, and from there she climbs through a network of corruption that make her the matron of the people.

Meanwhile, in Spain, the actress Rocío Almada wants to emulate the diva Sara Montiel. In her attempts she is involved with a network of thugs who put her at risk. Gloria and Rocío are variations of the same ambition, and of the spell caused by Magdala: Isla Viva, an agricultural community full of mysteries.
