The wheel knows my name. A film by Claudio Zilleruelo Acra

Mexico | 2024 | Rating: B | Spanish Language | 5:20 pm | Free Admission

Synopsis:

Portrait of Mexico City, center of chaos.

He owns a record store, She teaches yoga. Both are united by their enthusiasm for the death metal that He offers in his store and that She sings in a bar.

They are united by heartbreak, emptiness, and noise. And they live in a Mexico City that becomes more ghostly as the lights of cars illuminate it.

Everything changes when he begins to lose his sense of hearing. A world he knew from the outside, now intimately concerns him. The threat of deafness also forces her to rethink her identity.
