Event Description

Set A retired widow in Tehran stirs forbidden longing into her solitary days when a chance encounter reignites her appetite for life-and love. Premiering at the Berlin Film Festival and hailed as Iran's bold Oscar submission, this bittersweet gem from directors Maryam Moghaddam and Behtash Sanaeeha (Ballad of a White Cow) layers humor, rebellion, and a dash of scandal. But in a world policing a woman's cravings, can one slice of cake truly be an act of revolution?
