Event Description

On a summer's day in Rome, Roberto Mani (Jean- Louis Trintignant), a withdrawn young scholar, encounters Bruno Cortona (Vittorio Gassman), a middle-aged man driving a stylish convertible. The chance meeting leads to drinks and eventually to an extended road trip out of the city... a largely forgotten classic of the early 1960s Italian cinema. A delightful portrait of Italian social life in the bistros and nightclubs and beaches outside of the city culture carried by a powerhouse duo performance.
