Event Description

In October, we close our celebrations of our homeland, region, and traditions. Join the fourth session of the talk series La fiesta que nos une, tradiciones sanmiguelenses.
El Colectivo Tlacuache Socarrón will speak about “Memorias vivas de La Aurora.”
Tlacuache Socarrón is an autonomous collective that, as part of the Centenario de la Alborada, carried out sound and testimonial documentation in which several residents and colonists from the Colonia Aurora participated.
In these episodes, the residents share how they have experienced La Alborada throughout their lives and what they hope for from it in the future.
Join us to listen and engage in dialogue about this audio memory that honors the ancestors of La Alborada, the families of the Aurora workers, and San Miguel de Allende identity.
