Event Description
Screening of the Oscar-winning Dutch masterpiece "Character" ("Karakter"), a 1997 drama/thriller from the Netherlands directed by Mike van Diem. The film runs 125 minutes and stars Fedja van Huêt and Jan Decleir.
Fedja van Huêt smolders with repressed fury as a lawyer clawing his way from poverty, while Jan Decleir chills as his tyrannical father in this Oscar-winning Dutch masterpiece—their performances a masterclass in silent rage and emotional warfare. Every glance crackles with decades of resentment, turning a bitter inheritance battle into a Shakespearean duel of wills.
Three screenings are offered on the same evening in San Miguel de Allende.
