Opera Double Bill: Cavalleria Rusticana & Pagliacci

Two of opera's most thrilling one-act masterpieces share a single unforgettable evening at the Teatro Ángela Peralta!

Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana burns with Sicilian passion, honor, and jealousy, while Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci unmasks the heartbreak and tragedy hidden behind a traveling troupe of clowns. Together, "Cav & Pag" form the most celebrated double bill in all of opera, pairing soaring melodies with raw dramatic intensity.

This vivid staging brings together a distinguished cast—including Rodrigo Garciarroyo, Enrique Ángeles, and Jacinta Barbachano—under the baton of Maestro Jesús Almanza conducting the orchestra. (Sung in Italian with English and Spanish supertitles.)
