Bugonia

This Wednesday, January 28, Bugonia hits the screen, the new delirious film from Yorgos Lanthimos, a sci‑fi comedy as uncomfortable as it is brilliant.

The story follows two young people obsessed with conspiracy theories who decide to kidnap the powerful CEO of a major corporation, convinced she isn’t human… but an alien. From there, everything spirals out of control.

Starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons, both at some of the sharpest points of their careers, Bugonia is a fierce satire that uses absurd humor and science fiction to portray the paranoia, power, and madness of contemporary society.

Irreverent, unpredictable, and totally Lanthimos.
