Event Description
A dance-theater piece that explores the human condition through the principle of complementary opposites.
The work reveals the journey of a body that does not seek to escape gravity, but rather to use it as the driving force behind its own emancipation. This stage exploration is based on “The Little Book of Life” by the Islamic poet Rumi.
Paula Molina’s production will be accompanied by live music. Guitarist Miguel Omaña will perform masterpieces by renowned composers such as Leo Brouwer, Carlo Domeniconi, Girolamo Kapsberger, Simone Ianarelli, Erick Satie, and others.
"The body speaks when words fall short. This work is an invitation to immerse ourselves in a sensory experience through movement. It is very special for us to share our passion for the performing arts and their diverse live expressions with the San Miguel de Allende community." Paula Molina Castillo
