Bobby Kapp, jazz singer who placed in the top ten at the Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition and served as Jazz Ambassador for the US State Department. Bobby Kapp, jazz drummer who has played on legendary jazz albums and whose last recording was named as one of the best jazz recordings of 2023 by Downbeat Magazine. Bobby and his trio plus one are back at Cafe Rama on Sundays starting at 6:30 pm. The trio: Bobby on vocals and drums; Patricio Mendez on piano; David Barrera Orsonio on bass. And the plus one: Joan Yonkler on vocals.
