Descripción del Evento

An afternoon of evocative, theatrical storytelling with global storyteller, Amber Chand, as she takes you on a mesmerizing journey into the world of her ancestors in India and Africa, reading excerpts from her forthcoming book, "Tales of the Boatwoman".

Discover how a passionate elopement turning into an unhappy betrayal; why a black and white photograph changed the destiny of an entire family and how an ancient Vedic mantra consoled a young bride on her solitary voyage across the Indian Ocean.

Through her Stories That Give Back Initiative, Amber donates partial ticket sales from each performance to a local non-profit organization in the community.
