Josué Tacoronte was born in Havana, Cuba. He entered the Guanabacoa “Guillermo Tomás” music conservatory at the age of ten, receiving his first classical guitar classes with professor Rosario Castro and Roberto Kessel.

As a guitarist, arranger and composer he has been awarded various national and international awards. Collaborating with composer Leo Brouwer to fuse his contemporary music with flamenco. He has an extensive discography where he has been Nominated and awarded at the 2013 Cubadisco Festival with the album Brouwer Flamenco, 2016 Brouwer Flamenco Vol II., 2022 Clásicos al Toque, 2023 Nocturnos de Yayoi, 2024 Pa ́ los Guajiros Flamencos.

He has offered recitals in different concert halls and guitar festivals in Cuba, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, Dominican Republic, Argentina, United States, Peru, Morocco, France and Mexico.
