Biography:The direction of this project is in charge of the painter and curator Ana Julia Aguado, we expect the best of Contemporary Art that is made in Mexico, but also from the United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, Panama. We also have the participation of renowned artists such as Mr. Fernando Garrido National Art Award 2022, the Mtro. Vladimir Cora National Art Award 2022, on behalf of our guest Country Germany we will have the work of Otto Dix, Max Liebermann, Ernst Barlach, Käthe Kollwitz, Gerhard Marcks, Emil Nolde and George Grosz, representatives of the avant-garde circles of German influence and, in the most relevant cases to expressionist groups, thanks to the collaboration with the Sthepan Schroer Collection recently presented at the Museo Nacional de la Estampa in CDMX.
Taller 30 is also integrated, artists whose work integrates art, technology, science, sound and design, as well as the Ana Julia Aguado Fine Art Galleries, Intersection Gallery and Noel Cayetano Gallery among others. Local artists such as Keith Miller, Ri Anderson, Edward Swift, Alexander Engel, Claudia Pérez Pavón, Marilo Carral, Juan Ezcurdia, Elsa de la Garza, from New York participate in the work of renowned photographer Spencer Tunick, painter Lawrence Selevan, and multimedia artist Zoe Siegel, among others.
This Art Fair is accompanied by a series of stellar Jazz Concerts, under the direction of Maestro Antonio Lozoya, Director of the Jazz Fest SMA, AC Foundation. In addition to the Exhibition and sale of works of Art and the Concerts, this event will offer complementary activities in order to enrich the project and create a unique experience, Conferences, book presentations, and performances.
Our headquarters is the Soma ART San Miguel District Design and Gastronomy Center is the second edition of the Contemporary Art Fair in San Miguel de Allende, a World Heritage City and an International Tourist destination.
