Considerado como uno de los guitarristas más destacados y con mayor actividad de su generación. Realizó sus estudios de LicenciaturaInstrumentista-Guitarra y de Maestría enEducación Musical en la Escuela Nacional deMúsica (ahora Facultad de Música) de la UNAM, recibiendo reconocimientos de alto nivel académico, así como la medalla “GabinoBarreda” por ser el mejor estudiante de la carrera.

Considered one of the most outstanding and active guitarists of his generation. He studied Instrumentalist-Guitar and Master in Music Education at the National School of Music (now Faculty of Music) of the UNAM, receiving awards of high academic level, as well as the medal “Gabino Barreda” for being the best student of the career.
