Cuéntame Storytelling is Mexico City’s original Story Slam, an open mic for sharing real, personal stories. In 2025, Cuéntame is expanding its monthly Story Slam to San Miguel de Allende with a different theme each month.
February's theme is "The One That Got Away": Everybody has that person who slipped through their fingers. On the eve of Valentine’s Day, join us to share tales of love that almost was, and the lessons learned from those fleeting connections.
Format:
• Stories must be personal, true, and connected to the theme.
• Each storyteller will have 5 minutes to share their story.
• Stories are told without notes—raw, real, and from the heart.
• Participants can sign up upon arrival by putting their name in a hat. Names are drawn at random.
