Leonor Maldonado is a choreographer and dancer interested in the conceptual, discursive and political possibilities of the body in movement.

M20 Matamoros Ejido 20 is his first feature film. It contains the testimonies of young people who move between fear, euphoria and the secrecy that life on the border implies.

The film features the participation of actors such as Fernando Luján, Verónica Langer, Carlos Colombo, Cecilia Suárez, among others.

Synopsis:

Living among the possibilities that the cartel, the maquilas and the border allow, a group of men from the slums of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, create a dance that breaks the stereotypes of their context and what is expected of their lives.

Between celebration and the sacred, they build their identity and their ways of relating, demonstrating what dance offers them for the construction of their lives.
