This clever, intelligent and thought-provoking film is mostly dialogue, so just a heads up. There’s only 3 settings and it has some parts that have issues. That being said, it’s a great take on AI and the intricacies, ethics and overall dynamics that make humans...human vs an advanced computer. The writer definitely thought deeply about this topic, it shows and also educates people like me who don’t think too much about it. The premise is also interesting (luring sick predators in with a life-like AI girl online). It’s a good hook, but not the point of the film. It’s thought provoking and examines not only the future of humanity, but also what makes people human and what motivates people (much of our motivations and actions are rooted in trauma and/or childhood).Bravo to the child actor too, she’s very talented!! Overall a compelling movie that cracks open a lot of questions, if you don’t mind an almost fully dialogue film.
