She graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College, has performed in over 20 countries and has shared the stage with Grammy winners such as Ruben Blades and Esperanza Spalding. Her drumming style, influenced by Latin American grooves, hip hop, Indian rhythms and modern jazz, is unique, calm, yet intense and deeply expressive. Karina joins forces with pianist Papacho Sirdey and bassist Rubén Olvera, with whom she shares a strong musical affinity, for a compelling show that explores arrangements and originals infused with world-jazz idioms.
